SEO Press Formula - Recommended Wordpress Plugins
One of the things that Brian Johnson stresses in his soon to be launched (November 6, 2008) e-Course, SEO Press Formula, is that you should only use those Wordpress Plugins that are necessary. One of his cardinal rules is to use any plugin that keeps your Wordpress CMS [content management site] clean, fast and efficient. However, you need to understand that this is a Formula for making money from free traffic generated from a fully Search Engine Optimized Wordpress site, and that if a plugin is not designed to monetize your site, then Brian is unlikely to recommend it.
Brian does his utmost to keep his recommendations of Wordpress Plugins of the free variety, but will, when the situation warrants it, recommend paid Plugins.
I want you to be successful with this SEO Press Formula like I was, so I am going to give you a head start on getting the Wordpress Plugins that Brian recommends. You will really have to try the SEO Press Formula to get all of the ins and outs of using these Plugins correctly, but at least you can download them in advance and store them in a Plugins Folder so you’ll have them available during his video instructions.

FREE WORDPRESS PLUGINS
Akismet - Is a default Wordpress Plugin that helps protect against spam. All-In-One-SEO-Pack - This is probably the most important tool you can utilize on your Wordpress site. SEO Press Formula goes into depth on how to setup and use this valuable FREE Plugin to maximize your Wordpress effectiveness. Google-Sitemap-Generator - This Plugin will create a Google Sitemap compliant XML-Sitemap of your WordPress blog. Link-Cloaking-Plugin - This Plugin is used to cloak outbound links on your Wordpress site. Brian will go into detail on why this is necessary and how to properly do it using the SEO Press Formula. Wordpress-Automatic-Upgrade - Wordpress automatic upgrade allows a user to automatically upgrade their wordpress installation to the latest one. This is important because Wordpress.org is constantly working to make Wordpress more user friendly and secure. WP-DB-Backup - WP-DB-Backup allows you easily to backup your core WordPress database tables. You may also backup other tables in the same database. This is extremely important if you want to preserve all of the work you put into optimizing your Wordpress site with the SEO Press Formula.

Auto-Social-Poster - This plugin takes the drudgery out of posting your Wordpress Posts to Social Bookmarking sites manually. As the name implies it automates this for you. Very Handy, but a bit pricey. When you get to the point where you can afford to purchase some plugins, this is one Brian and I recommend. ASP-Shared-Logins - This is a free improvement Plugin for Auto Social Poster that allows you to use your logins to social bookmarking sites on several Wordpress sites at one time. It works in conjuction with the paid Plugin Auto Social Poster. BayRSS - This is an Ebay and Amazon Wordpress Plugin to monetize affiliate sales through your website. This is the plugin that I use on my sites and like very much. The only reason that I don't use this software is because I have used BayRSS successfully for quite some time and it does for me what PHPBay will do.
